Korede Bello's absence from school causes failure of school mate

Nigerian singer, Korede Bello's regular absence from his school has caused the failure of a schoolmate of his, who is identified as Damilare Famuyiwa.

The lecturers in Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ) in Ogba, Lagos threatened to resign if the music star took semester exams.

The 18-year-old singer later apologised during a meeting with the school's management.

Reports show that the student who exposed Korede's absence from school has been failed by the institute for incriminating the mavin singer.

Damilare was marked down and handed carry-overs in two courses while he earned low marks in others. This caused Nigerian Young Journalists Forum(NYJF)  and Journalists For Christ(JFC) to fight the matter while Damilare calls for his scripts and challenge the results.

Fellow classmates of the victimized also testified that results of Damilare came as a great shock as he was one of the toppers in his class and Korede who barely attended lectures or took part in assessments passed amazingly as a result of manipulation of the system.
