The National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) has conducted a needs assessment tour at IDPs camps in Borno State.
The Director General of NEMA, Mohammed Sidi, made this known on Thursday, March 24 during a two-day visit to Maiduguri, Borno State.
According to Mr Sidi, the number of displaced persons in Maiduguri has been on the rise with an average of 20 new births in a camp of 12,000 people.
NEMA, has called for deployment of medical personnel to IDPs camps in Maiduguri and new satellite camps have been provided and they are located at Dikwa, Mafa, Damboa, Baga, Bama, Gwoza, Askira, Beneishek, Gambora, Mongunu and Konduga.
