5 parents of missing Chibok girls claim they received calls from their daughters

The Chairman, Chibok community in Abuja, Tsambido Abana has told newsmen that five parents have claimed they received calls from phone numbers which belonged to their missing daughters.

"Five parents have informed me that they have been receiving calls from their daughters' phones but when they call back, the persons that picked up said the phones were theirs and also stopped them from calling the lines." said Abana.

Abana further explained that they were not sure if the network (telecom firms) had allocated the girls' numbers to other persons or if the callers were just playing pranks on the parents. He also said that the matter will be reported to the government for security agencies to investigate.
