The gates of Benue State University were shut earlier today due to protest which was staged by students of the institution as a result of heavy increment in tuition fees.
The angry students during the protest, requested a reverse of the new development back to what it used to be.
Fresh students who are currently running their registration programme at the institution were unable to carry out any activities today due to the protest.
A meeting of the senior members of the institution's governing body was held today and further activities in the school have been postponed till further notice.
